I formerly used azo gold as a ground colour for my canvases. Decided to try golden orange instead. It worked beautifully, and evenly covered a very large canvas. Very happy with it.

Thick beautiful paint!

I recently started working with Acrylic Inks and am glad I found Tri-Art Ink. Colors are rich & vibrant and I'm placing another order this week.

I am switching to Canadian made art supplies whereever possible and am pleased with the Tr-Art paints. I did a comparison with other brands and am very satisfied with the consistency and the pigment load. I will be buying more Tri-art oils in the future

I'm really excited about these paints! Unfortunately, I only bought three colors (for now), but I'm quite impressed, especially when comparing them to well-known brands like Liquitex and Golden. I love everything about these paints, and as I run out of colors, I'll definitely be buying more from Tri-Art! I'm also eager to try some of their mediums.

As for the paints themselves, I really enjoy their buttery texture and how well they mix—painting with them is truly a pleasure. The colors are vivid and bright. I compared Tri-Art’s Prussian Blue with Liquitex, and in comparison, Liquitex appears quite desaturated, while Tri-Art’s version is much more vibrant and rich.

Love that I can get a ginormous bucket of CANADIAN made matte gel medium. I've used Liquitex, Golden and generic brands of gel medium for over 30 years and Tri-art's is comparable or better. (looking at YOU sketchy generic mediums!) I use it as a collage glue, paint extender and isolation coat. Highly recommend!
