Quinacridone Red is a Tri-Art signature colour. Deep magenta-red in mass tone, Quinacridone Red readily shifts to its intensely cool, blue leaning, pink-magenta undertone. Similar in undertone to Quinacridone Magenta, Quinacridone Red makes an excellent choice of mixing compliment and glazing colour that can substitute for any traditional cool red like Alizarin Crimson for cleaner, more vibrant colour mixtures. Build in layers to create passages of vibrant red.
